Herbal Consultations
What is herbal medicine?
Plants were our original medicines, and they work to support our bodies toward health and wholeness. As an herbalist, I focus on nourishing the body systems involved in disease. I've found plants to be amazingly helpful for a broad spectrum of health complaints. They work on a physical level of course, but also can support us mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Herbalists do not diagnose or cure, but rather aid the body systems and organs in their own healing.

What to expect?
An initial consultation includes two appointments and approximately 2 weeks worth of herbs. The first appointment is 30 min to 1 hour, and we'll review your health history and wellness goals. Please bring a list of any medications or supplements you are currently using.
After the first appointment, your herbs will be blended and a protocol prepared for you. This may include a daily tonic tea, tinctures, salves, or oils. Your herbal formulas are kept on file and are also given to you. Herbs are chosen based on their actions in Traditional Western Herbalism, and how they can support your body's healing process.
In the second appointment, we'll discuss your protocol and how to take the herbs. This usually takes 15-30 minutes.
Follow-up appointments are 15-30 minutes and can be scheduled here.
Appointments are on a sliding scale. Please bring last year's tax return to be eligible for sliding scale pricing.
