The Art of Tai Chi by Colleen Shea

Tai Chi is a moving art that embraces our mind, body, and spirit. Tai Chi is a continuous flow of slow gentle movements that reduce physical and mental tension, restore our energetic balance, and improve health and well-being. Our mind is rested and rejuvenated, allowing the body to release tension and stress to relieve muscle and joint stiffness.
Originating in China hundreds of years ago, Tai Chi was practiced only as a martial art. Today, we practice Tai Chi as a health exercise, which may even be adapted to physical
limitations. Evidence based studies have documented that the practice of Tai Chi improves balance, coordination, strength, agility, flexibility and range of motion, and more.
We now have the opportunity to learn and integrate Tai Chi into our own proactive plan for healthy aging or make it part of an athletic training program for better sport performance. Never get too busy to take care of yourself! Maintain your physical and mental balance and enhance your spirit of vitality. Experience how a clear mind can easily receive guiding inspiration. Practice Tai Chi. The art that embraces our mind, body, and spirit.
