Bob Fahrenholtz began his yoga practice during the summer of 2010 as he sought ways to reduce stress and chronic headaches he experienced as an IT professional. He believes a sensible diet, moderate exercise, and incorporating meditation/relaxation techniques are essential steps in dealing with the dis-ease we face in today’s complex, fast-paced world.
Realizing the difference in himself, Bob completed RYT-200 Amrit Yoga Level 1 teacher training through the Amrit Yoga Institute at Santosha Yoga Studio in April 2013. The following year, he completed Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra training at the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Stockbridge, MA.
In the time since, Bob’s practice has continued to grow and evolve. Going from body-centric, self-care to one in which he continues to share his training and experiences with others. To him, everyone is a yogi of some form or another. Whether it be a physical or meditative practice, one of selfless service, or heart-centered devotion, his intention is to help them discover that yogi within and encourage them along their personal path.
