Meditation in Motion

How do you find ways to connect with the energy within you – and all around you? Maybe you are already familiar with your own life-force energy and are looking for a space to practice and deepen your connection? Or maybe it will feel like a new experience for you? Whatever your previous connection to meditation, energy, or yoga, this class offers an opportunity to be guided and supported by the shared energy of a Revealer or Teacher. We’ll invite you to tune in and then allow Meditation to expand into Motion.

Each week will offer a different set of Tools and Techniques that can help you recognize your inner energy – also known as Chi/Qi, Prana, or Life Force. These approaches may include:

  • Breath practices to calm the mind.
  • How to listen to the impulses and guidance of your own life force energy, both in the body and in life (aka on the mat and off the mat).
  • Moments of stillness in a seated position as well as moments of active and passive shapes and stretches.
  • Self-observation and reflection practices that can lead you toward a felt sense of ease, both in meditation and in life.

Meditation in Motion is available to every body – chair variations and/or simply visualizing with feeling may be utilized throughout. Everyone and everything is in!

A variety of Santosha Instructors will lead this class, so you can connect to a variety of styles and Tools.
