Gentle Amrit

This class uses a gentle flow of rhythmic movement, breathwork and meditative focus to guide the connection to energy (prana). The simple guidance towards a Meditation-in-Motion practice is directed to help guide the practitioner (sadhak) to fully experience themselves in and as the present moment. May occasionally also include yoga nidra.

Morning Sun Yin

Sun/Yin Yoga brings together the benefits of both styles of yoga, one active round of Sun Salutation followed by passively holding Yin yoga poses with ultimately balancing body and mind.

Starting with one round of Sun Salutation we will focus on the breath. There maybe a few other standing postures before we move down to the floor as we continue to maintain a focus on the breath and settle into our yin poses. This class is a balance between action and stillness, will and surrender, doing and non-doing.

I AM Yoga: Posture of Consciousness

This class is active and meditative! The practice holds the intention of embracing as much of the full sequence of Level 1 - Posture of Consciousness that can flow into this 1-hour class. The sequence has about 26 poses, practiced in an order designed to allow energy to flow through the whole body. In the Integrative Amrit Method of Yoga (I AM Yoga), our intention is for integration. This is an intermediate class that's best for yoga lovers with some previous experience or people who are ready to engage in active physical yoga postures, including coming up and down from the floor several times.
