I AM Yoga Therapy

We help you get set up in poses that allow you to access body zones such as legs, buttocks, hips, hamstrings, heart, back, and shoulders. Then, we use the breath to connect more fully with the body so you can relax as deeply as possible. As you relax, even in the midst of sensation, you may open up to deeper healing, support clarity of mind, and allow for the release of trapped emotions.

Gentle Amrit Yoga

This class uses a gentle flow of rhythmic movement, breathwork and meditative focus to guide the connection to energy (prana). The simple guidance towards a Meditation-in-Motion practice is directed to help guide the practitioner (sadhak) to fully experience themselves in and as the present moment. May occasionally also include yoga nidra.

Yin Yoga
Morning Sun Yin Yoga

Sun/Yin Yoga brings together the benefits of both styles of yoga, one active round of Sun Salutation followed by passively holding Yin yoga poses with ultimately balancing body and mind.

Starting with one round of Sun Salutation we will focus on the breath. There maybe a few other standing postures before we move down to the floor as we continue to maintain a focus on the breath and settle into our yin poses. This class is a balance between action and stillness, will and surrender, doing and non-doing.
